The ability to program the g-code in Pro machines is quite a ways ahead of the Hobby Controllers such as Mach 3 or LinuxCNC. Thanks I actually didnt end up using the tinyG, I just used an arduino uno with the grbl software on it and wired it up (at a cost of about $13AUD for the arduino) I did find that using it with Chillipeppr CNC controller it worked well and easy to setup.
